Game Jam (Kind of?) With Reward!

Okay guys! Time for me to do a Game Jam (kind of)! So this one is gonna be kind of different. Basically anyone who wants to participate, will be creating their best interpretation of the prompt. And the reward for the winner, is gaining a personal planet pfp (like the one I have)! Anyway, here is the prompt!

Prompt: You are a (~12) child. You lived in a village called Ashara’s Hollow. You (at some point during the start of the game) awaken the ability to SoulWalk. SoulWalking is the ability to exit you body and travel to the Soul Realm. Your goal is to defeat Azgorath the Soul God. (you can give a name for the child or not.)

Requirements:

  1. Must have AT LEAST 2 NPC’s.
  2. Must have a working main menu/title screen
  3. Must have at least 2 tilemaps (one for normal word, and one for soul world), with at least one of the tiles made by you (or your team)
  4. No inappropriate content (e.g. extreme blood and gore, no jumpscare for no reason, etc).
  5. No browser controls
  6. Have fun!

Timeline:

Start: Nov 7 (At the time of me making this)

End: Dec 6, 10:00 PM

If the Requirements are not followed, you will be disqualified. If there are any questions, feel free to ask! Thanks for participating!

When it’s finished it’ll have all the requirements. (It needs a second NPC)

Yes it can be sumbitted at any time, just before the deadine.

This is an AWESOME prompt, It’s a very fun idea to see everyone’s interpretation of the same story! I can’t join at the moment, but I hope it goes well! :heart:
