As a huge zelda fan and a huge fan of the gameboy games, I must say, this looks really good and promising. Although, I noticed that the sword animation links does is kinda of weird and wrong.

The image above depicts what I mean. On the left is the behaviour of the original gameboy games, on the right is how it works in your recreation.

This not only feels kinda of weird, but it is also sort of bad for gameplay.

But this really looks promising, and I am hyped for more updates. Keep going with what you’re doing, you’re absolutely cooking.

as you know doom is a gameboy game but it does not have 4 colors for each sprite and since my game is a remake is it ok that my sprites have more than 4 colors per sprite

Sure why not
It just is “made up of multiple sprites”
Or you can have more than 3 if your sprite is taller than 16x16
