I didn’t met this error ever, as I remembered. As far as I know the libopencm3 seems a link library, I remembered the make will clone it automaticly before actual build. Check is there files in it first maybe helped.
Actually, I didn’t have any code experience on linux before I make this, even didn’t compile a helloworld before. I just search and try many many time, so I can’t remember and not sure which step is really work. So it took me about serveral weeks to make a success build on my RPi. Hope this can help.
Weird, make does download libopencm3 (I checked the folder) but it won’t automatically compile it. When I manually compile it, make gives me an error saying that a path something like (Path might be wrong, i’m remembering the path from memory) include/libopencm3/stm32/f4/???.???.json isn’t found. Do you still know the steps on how you built uf2-stm32f on your Raspberry Pi?
Oh, i’ve checked the forked repository of libopencm3 and on Windows it says I need something called arm-none-eabi/arm-elf toolchain to build that. make also mentions about that in the error.
After i installed GameSlots on my Meowbit, it wont show up as a drive on my computer anymore.
I don’t know what to do since i can’t uninstall or go back in any way now.
1: No, I was stupid enough to not backup the files.
2: No errors. Install and bootup worked fine. The unit starts up with the right screen, but nothing happens when it connects to the computer anymore.
3: Nothing unrecognized in the device manager.
4: Sorry i cant be of much help. Everything seems to work as it should with the unit except connecting it as a drive.
Yea. I give up. None of the regular commands does anything. As i said before, everything except connecting to computer works. Tried to find someway to get into some kind of hardware programing mode or some hardware reset with the card but cant find anything.
@AqeeAqee, this bootloader works great! But I have just one question: Is there a way to update or remove the bootloader? When I tried updating it, it said I already had the bootloader.
Thanks for your positive feedback!
If it prompt “You already have this bootloader”, the update uf2 file should be exactly same with the bootload on your device. Drag other bootload file, for example Meowbit official bootload
Hey,
First of amazing project. I am really wondering how you made it and if it is possible to contribute. I have ideas how to improve the ui and overall experience
