What are the rules on making a horror game that can be terrifying yet still allowed to be on the forums?
Can I do some psychological trauma shenanigans? Or jumpscares? Or a specific phobia fear?
no hard-and-fast rules on this, but we reserve the right to reject any game that we think is inappropriate for this forum. afaik we’ve never actually had to reject a horror game as being “too disturbing” or anything like that (but don’t take that as a challenge)
i guess what i’m saying is that i wouldn’t go for over-the-top shock value for shock value’s sake, but we welcome horror games generally
