Heres the title card (did it today) anyways heres the story:
Jake, is your average teenager, enjoys drawing and music, is on the track and wrestling team, has survere depression and a really vivid imagination.
one night before his 15th birthday Jake had a really vivid dream, one so deep it felt real, he was in his head…his head cannon.
Along with his many hats (transformations or power ups) his speed, and his many figments (npcs) he’ll make it out of his dream…if the dude doesnt get him first. (final boss)

as of now there will be 8 stages, 7 bosses, and 4 Npc’s
if you have any ideas please let me know (looking for cartoon/pizza tower esk ideas) (ill be dropping playable builds here so yeah)

One of my more…ambitious projects but I plan on sticking to this one (until I reach a game breaking bug lol)

maybe add a powerup where his head literally becomes a giant cannon that he can fire bombs out of

I might add this as an easter egg like as like a secret item or a meme, but the power ups will be the following
(didnt want to announce these without art but ill get to it by sunday)
Red Beanie- Dog Jake
Moves faster (appearance becomes that of a humanoid dog)
Spark Cap- HI-V Jake
Now travels up wires on the wall, can preform a double jump, and Jiggs (the currency in the game) Are attracted to you
Cape- Hero Jake
Invunrability super speed and flight for 10 seconds
Headphones- Music Jake
Can sing music note projectiles to damadge enemies, idle animation becomes him dancing

1st playable demo should be dropping by the end of the month,
In the demo there will be
A test stage with most of the gimmiks and shenanigans i wanna add to the game
4 enemy types:
Enemy's
- buzzkill (the goombas of this game they just hover left to right)
- Peeves: small flies that group up in swarms and not only slow you down but drains your Points (aka your life (if it gets to -1000 then you DIE))
- Ragno’s: rhino-tricerotop-epic mickey ink blot- SMW dinosaur looking things that charge at you and stop only after you either A. get too far from them or B. kill them by ramming into them (cant pick em up they are too heavy)
- Standies-Stand ins of bosses (will explode on contact)
a taunt or two (jake drinking a can of pears, and jake doin’ the freaked out peppino face)
A nice hidden area or two,
and (possibly) two or more items

Okay so ive got an idea (demo will for sure be coming out the 8th)
but i want to know what you guys want…and what better way than with a good ol fashioned poll?
The revised item set would include the following:
Sleepy cap- Allows you to float kirby style, downsides are you move slower than usual but your entire outfit changes to sleepy looking clothes
Head cannon- Your head becomes a literal cannon, press B to shoot cannon balls and choose a direction to aim, (your body becomes more like a moving vehicle)
Red Beanie- dont wanna say anything but youll be rapping real good with this one
Scarf n’ hat- ice ice baby. you get to move faster, get to move ontop of water and lava, and can throw snowballs at enemies
- 2.5D (a demo of this style will be dropped before the promised demo)
- A revised Item set (yes i will add an actual head cannon thanks @Brainstorm_Studios)
- More stages
- All the Above
- Other (tell me what you want to see)

North- queen Commonsince’s Castle (boss: Jex Jester)
Hands- HIS WORLD (more on that later)
