In the past, we habitually used micro:bit to create hardware projects. Micro:bit is an excellent STEM entry-level hardware, very suitable for children. Of course, I have also used it to create many projects, such as claw machines, multi-legged robots, smart storage boxes, etc. However, due to micro:bit’s weak display capabilities, I couldn’t add more visual interactions, which is a pity.
Since discovering the MakeCode Arcade platform, I have been very fond of it, especially its ability to download games to hardware like Meowbit. Even though it might feel a bit challenging at first for those without a foundation, it doesn’t stop me from being fascinated by it.
I have always hoped to add more interesting interactive images to hardware creation projects. So, my team and I explored this fun gameplay by combining ESP32 with Arcade. I plan to use it to create more projects to share with everyone, starting with this interesting watering experiment.
