I did good on all the ones I took… A huge storm knocked out the power. So school was canceled and half the tests were postponed until break ends. Now the power is back on and winter break has come three days early!

srry guys just saying i wont be coding untill the end of this sememester because i need to work on my cca’s and study for my exams. sorry but ill be gone for like 3-4 weeks probably.

@Bifrosty u made big games so i was wondering how u survived all the lag needed to make the game? it take me 5 minutes just to load up the game cause its so laggy, and takes 10 seconds just to move a block.

My best advice is to “soldier through” but here are some tips:
1.Don’t zoom out really far, more zoom = less lag.
2.Have an isolated “lag area.” In my new game I have a lot of code for animating tiles with REALLY long (and could probably be optimized lol) equations. Whenever I am in that area the editor its really laggy so I put it in a far corner, if you have “lag equations” then isolate them.
3.When making multiple assets at once or a really big asset switch to the “Assets” tab because it’s less laggy than the blocks tab. Also name every asset.
4.This might not be true but I swear the app version of makecode is like 10% better in terms of lag. Its also less prone to This Glitch. So I use the app version.
5.Listen to music! Waiting for anything to load is easier!
