my project hoplings has an extension that’s sort of preventing it from opening even though i havent used it for anything yet, is there a way to delete it?

to remove an extension:
- backup your project by downloading a PNG
- switch to javascript
- expand the file explorer underneath the simulator
- look for the extension in the list of files
- press the trash can next to it to delete the extension
- after the project reloads, switch back to blocks

I always skip step 1.

It’s in there incase if something goes horribly wrong
and then you can’t do anything but sing a stupid song

it’s dangerous to delete extensions, because if your project is using a bunch of blocks from the extension without you realizing it then it can end up causing all sorts of trouble!
always back up before removing extensions

Ah yes, I always make sure I have zero blocks of the extension in my game.
I should still probably back my projects up before

I recently forgot step 1 and lost an hour of progress. Luckily I had a backup from earlier or else I would have lost all of it.
