We have game.currentScene().background(), but do we also have something like game.currentScene().spritesImage()? game.currentScene().tilesImage()?
We don’t really render the screen in that way; instead everything is drawn to the screen based on z-index. Lower z-indices go first, and higher ones go last.
The tilemap is also in this stack; it actually has a z value of -1. If you set a sprite to have a lower z than that; it will render behind it!
