Microsoft MakeCode

I've made a randomized terrain generator similar to minecraft's

This is 2d because I don’t know much about javascript and 3d raycasting.

Quick update: Added ores, added digging down, spelling error fixed in the title, and 30 jumps instead of 2, so digging down doesn’t softlock you.

It’s a nice game butI have a question, how do you digg?

Sorry, there was a bug, and I didn’t test it because the loading time was to long, but now I fixed it and tested it, and it now works. click B to dig down. You can’t get items (yet), and you can’t dig sideways (yet). Here’s the fixed version.

Ok thanks!

Wait @Kiwiphoenix364, is the abnormal loading time a glitch or is it supposed to be there to load up the chunks?
PS: this is for my game (Minecraft Arcade), which you have already told me about (great effort btw!).

It takes so long because it has 1: it generates in layers. if it didn’t do as many layers as it does now, it would look like this: https://makecode.com/_LEr3MMKgrd6c
2. To smooth out the terrain. If it doesn’t it just looks like this: https://makecode.com/_3YmA03C0RK9p

@Kiwiphoenix364 ok, the thing is, @UnsignedArduino has already made a full extension for random terrain generation, so I might not use your code :frowning:

Ok, you can do that! I know that my code is not the most efficient and there are better ways. I was just giving you a possibility to try so you might not have to put into too much effort, and I didn’t know UnsignedArduino already made an extension!
