I’m Emma, one of the Graphic Designers at Kitronik. I had a play in MakeCode Arcade to make something fun and usable for people in the run up to holiday season, and ended up re-skinning the Jumpy Platformer to a Christmassy, Wintry theme.
I wanted to pop this somewhere that would make it accessible for everyone. Stay warm everyone, and happy coding!
Notes: I am a designer, so I feel my implementation of the title screen is less elegant than it could be. In the assets there is an animated version of the title that drops down from the top of the screen, and while I couldn’t make it work, I hope some of you can! This animation is large though, so keeping it in does make the game too large to upload to one of our ARCADEs or other such devices.
for moving elements it is a lot better to use SVG Paths or manualy code a sequence with timers and acelleration/velocity code because that doesn’t make a lot of assets like an animation does
That being said I’m not here to sell to you - I myself produce a lot of free content for makers and will likely be occasionally dropping assets here just for fun. If anyone does need assistance from us though, let me know.
