so, jumpy platformer is a game made by Jwunderl. a relatively simple platformer, 10 or so levels, but it got a bunch of popularity, mods, remakes, and so on BECAUSE of its simplicity. the simple joy of stomping on little green nuggets, avoiding orange bird things, and trying to get a high score, it all blends together to be way better and more fun than it has any right to be. so, that being said, what do you think is the best thing about jumpy platformer? the pure, simple fun? the modding community? the attention it’s gotten?

I think it’s great, when I was starting out it really helped me to look at its code and see how it worked. However animations are kinda outdated which definitely confused me back then

i love that game!
it helped me understand makecode better when i started back in 2020 and i played it over and over on my raspberry pi for hours!
I will say that it probably mainly got any popularity because it was the first game i wrote, then we put it on the home page before arcade ever launched, and kept it up there since 
but yeah a lot of it is very old at this point / could use some updates to be simpler / etc
