This is a bug that happened to me years ago where while coding I wasn’t able to play the simulator at all and it would be a black screen, if I pressed the menu button I would be able to see for a half a second before it returned to black. Im so sorry you had this issue man. I had it happen to me too and the culprit is the 3D RENDER! I removed it and your editor came back to life. I hope this fixes it!

Same! 3D is already on, so just change it to Tilemap. Just put the tilemap.
