MakeCode Kart

It doesn’t work that way. I would have to implement it manually because splitscreen only works for tilemaps, not custom renderers. Even if I did implement it manually, it would run slow and each player would only get 1/4 of the screen’s resolution. Like I said, I think I’ll wait until online supports multiple screens.

I wonder if there’s a simpler way to remake this game, now that the topic has been dead for 2 years…

I like that game, and also I am going to try to make a very advanced structure and code like that, like perspective 3D, even though the engine is 2d as well, but I know there needs to be a lot of lines and structure to do it, of course, it is not magic. I enjoy that game, and I plan to try creating very advanced structures and code, similar to the perspective 3D style, even though the engine is primarily 2D. I know it will require a lot of lines and careful structure to achieve this, as it’s not magic. :grin:n: I truly enjoy the process.

I found a bug, if you drive back and forth on the finish line it registers as a bunch of laps, whereas it should only register if you come across the line in the right direction.

I think you are a little late by 7 months. I might be wrong though >w<

did you use the floor and sealing ray casting extension for that or did u do all that math and stuff?

Assuming you’re referring to the “perspective texture” code, it’s math and stuff

Check out the renderer.ts file in the left panel file explorer in JavaScript mode.
