This is a meme topic, so I'll just make the reason I quit that project clickable if you want to read it.
I’ve had the intention of reviving it (with a new, more polished game) once separate-screen multiplayer gets added to Arcade. I just feel like it’s not a super good kart game without having friends be able to race, and split-screen would be annoying. Then all you would really have are time trials and single player with CPUs, which are both kind of side modes. I spent a lot of time on that project, but it was at the point where it kind of needed actual multiplayer, and that’s why I stopped. It’s kind of sad to me too, I hope you understand where I’m coming from though. But hey, if anyone wants to make their own version of MK Atcade, they definitely can! I didn’t even make the topic, all I did was contribute.
In summary, there was and still isn’t an easy way to do multiplayer for that project, so that’s why I quit, though it’s more like taking an extended break from it until separate-screen multiplayer gets added lol!
