@TheEarth I recently put my pronouns into my description. I did that because I noticed someone referred to me as “they” because I’ve never confirmed my gender, but yes, he/him is correct.

Anyone want to submit an exoplanet to my game can be fictional

Requirements

  • Has to be 16x16
  • Name please
  • Has to resemble a planet or be a planet
  • Moveset with neutral special side special up special down special neutral attack side attack up attack down attack

First 5 submissions will be added( if I don’t quit that is)

Okay guys, since we reached 10k reply’s now, I can say that,

NEW GAME UNLOCKED: GRAVITY!

Gravity is a game where you can change the gravity to be up or down by using the B button.
There’s 10 level per each world which is going to be 5, so 50 level total in one game, it’s currently WIP right now so I may drop time to time some sneak peeks to you so you can see what the game look like at the moment. But before we get into some more details into the game, I will show a poll for your suggestions.

Gravity mode?
  • only left/right
  • only up/down
  • both
  • both but different in some levels

Okay were back on it so, this is not the only game I be working on, in fact here’s the games that i will make:

  • Tower stack (3D)
  • Makecode Utils (extension)
  • Pointers (extension)
  • Rubix cube puzzle (3D)
  • Makecode party
  • Work in progress

And many more! This game is goanna be a lot of stuff in it so, get ready!

Wow, okay. so this is crazy. Back in my day there was only nearly 1k in the chatting area. That was back when sarge was around I think.

A small post about forum etiquette

The first thing I want to stress is that I do not think it is a problem that new users like to interact and talk. I love seeing new people join and honestly, the forums are theirs and they can do whatever they want with it. But after seeing nearly 5 thousand posts in one topic in one year I think I should point out how we did it in the old days.

Replying to multiple posts

I see a lot of users posting multiple replies to different posts, but guys, you can do this:

For those who don’t know, you can get that by typing 3 dashes ( - ).

Usually in this scenario I @ people just after the line, or quote them. The point of this is to not clutter topics with unnecisary posts or taking up a lot of space, as every post includes your profile and name and stuff.

It’s just nice to keep it minimal, and it’s more proffesional.

Maybe don’t just say things?

Another thing I see a lot of are one-word replies or short sentences. Back the day those were quite rare. The reactons that they added recently are a good way to cut down on this. Instead of saying “That’s so funny!” you could say :laughing: and not even have to wait for moderation.

Conclusion

That’s all I can think of right now. If any other veterans would like to add one, please feel free.

I would like to stress that I am not imposing these on people or looking down on people who don’t do these things, I just wanted to show new users what it used to be like.
