A bit aggressive don’t you think? If they aren’t accepting characters, let them be! No need to pressure them 
However, you still do make a fair point! Try wording it differently!

Oh ok…would it be possible if you could post the link of what you did make here so the community can take over? Then it works out for everyone. If something happened (if its gone) Then we could probably start something new from scratch. Personally I think this is a really cool consept, and the forums seem to enjoy it so might as well hand the project over to us.
I lost it… But I would be happy to help start from scratch as I am about to go on spring break so I’ll have a lot of time to kill
