animating tiles with tiles:
so basically what you must do is get a every second update block and if you have the tile swap extension keep using it like switching out the blocks like and animation of some sort and you will able to animate tiles with very little lag!

You could also use TilesXtra - new extension with animated tiles - #20 by Unique
