I’m going to get started on the music, And I’m assuming you guys want a creepy/adventures vibe? I will post a makecode link and a Music making website a use that you might be able to import into the game.

Okay, hold on. If it’s a puzzle game how is there going to be combat?( it was listed as needed). Will it be a Zelda situation?

I’m probably gonna make a basic map with aesthetic functions(like multi tile big tree placement, tall grass, so on). I’ll get it done in a day or two when I have free time.

alright, I got it mostly done. I’ll make some auto tiling for paths later, but this is good enough for some basics.

I would personally suggest we do a combat system similar to pokemon or undertale. Although a Zelda like combat system could work, it wouldn’t be as original as designing our own system. However, this is a democracy.

Also, from previous experience, making an Overworld combat system is a lot more annoying. When trying to make the void lands, I had to deal with pathfinding and unique enemy movement and projectiles and blah blah blah. It would probably be easier to confine stuff to some menus with maybe a battle box like in undertale. Plus then we wouldn’t have to draw 3D character designs for every enemy, which was annoying for me. Again, I’m not saying it couldn’t work, but it might be easier to do the alternative.

alright, fair. But if you also don’t want a Zelda system, then what would you suggest?

We always could just have the systems at different points in the game. Like say there are a bunch of people who really like this one sport which could be played turn based like. If that’s a little confusing just say so an I can explain more, but if any of you play No Mans Sky, think like the new Holo-table update.
