Overlapping sprites won't work

I have a big sprite overlapping a small sprite, but nothing happens when they overlap. Anyone know how to fix this?

If the sprite that’s not working is this one:

then I’d imagine it’s not working because you’re setting it to be a ghost, which means that it will not be able to overlap sprites.
