Overzealous AI Debugger

Ever since the update adding the AI debugging tool to Arcade, the popup on the bottom of the screen that notifies you of an issue appears every time a user drags out a block of code applying to a sprite, before they have a chance to change it from “mysprite” to the name of their sprite. The debugger covers a large portion of the screen, for users on small laptops.

This is just kind of an annoyance for an adult programmer, but for my middle school students it often stops them in their tracks and can be a real hindrance to their progress. Can the tool possibly be tweaked to wait a certain number of seconds before displaying the debugger for this particular issue?

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We have gotten feedback from others as well that the pop-up behavior is frustrating. We made a change so that when a user minimizes the pane, it stays minimized. That means, if a student collapses it once, they should not have to collapse it again. We are also looking into other solutions to reduce the annoyances with this experience. Hope this helps. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you again for the feedback.

you could have the option to turn it off in blocks and have what it had before where it just went red
