i’m aware of the “one topic per project” rule, but i dont understand it. why is it that we’re limited to just one topic per project? why do screenshots count as project posts? i’ve shown screenshots of sprites in my game before, so why are they fine? where’s the line between a teaser topic and a project topic?

The purpose of this rule is to keep the forum from being flooded by repetitive posts. In the past, we were seeing a lot of topics like “my game’s update is out now!” which were drowning out other types of topics (like people asking for help).
You might have seen some uneven enforcement of this rule (and others) in the past; we have several team members who moderate this forum and everyone enforces the rules a little bit differently. We’re always trying to improve on this process, though!
