I loved your level design, but the gameplay needs to be nice for a level to get a rate. So far, all your levels are super annoying pixel perfect shifts or spam.

Well @AbstractDesigner . Here we go. I promised I’d do this and I have some spare time so…GD COLOGNE MODE TIME.

REMEMBER: THESE ARE ALL MY PERSONAL OPINIONS. DON’T TAKE ANYTHING TOO SERIOUSLY.


SPRINTER

Status: 9/10

Review: I really like this level. it’s very clear and easy to understand, as expected for the first level. There are no weirdly timed jumps and the level is very well balanced. It’s overall, very well made, though, it probably could benefit from at the minimum, 1 precise click, like how Stereo madness had a TRIPLE SPIKE late in the level.


TRAVEL

Status: Beaten

Rating: 7/10

Review: This level is pretty good. Not as good as Sprinter but still good. It introduces jump pads and does it in a very clear & easy way to understand. The clicks are slightly tighter than Sprinter’s but not TOO tight. so, it’s a nice change in difficulty considering it’s right after the first level.


PHANTOM

Status: Beaten

Rating: 5/10

Review: This level doesn’t introduce anything new, but it does teach you that not all jump pads are safe to hit. (Similar to what Back On Track does in the actual Geometry Dash.) The levels alright. Nothing special but nothing bad. One thing I will complain about is the COIN. The placement seems…off… like it was forced there. The click is also annoying to time.


AURORA

Status: Beaten

Rating: 8/10

Review: This level revolves around the same thing as Phantom. Teaching the player that mechanics can be used against the player. Overall the gameplay is generic but the COIN…OH MY GOD THE COIN. IT’S SO WELL DESIGNED & THOUGHT OUT. It requires a double click on a platform where it LOOKS like you can just fall into the platform and that is SUCH A GOOD IDEA. Not only that but there’s ACTUAL GAMEPLAY up there. You don’t just Fall and get the coin, it requires SKILL. anyways, S tier coin. Probably saved this level from a 5/10.


DEHYDRATED

Status: Beaten

Rating: 5/10

Review: This level is pretty basic. It introduces SPEED PORTALS and does so in a basic way. Do a few shifts, fall a few times, hit a few jump pads and boom, levels finished. The coin is…alright. Just a timed shift right before you hit a jump pad. Overall, nothing special.


BREAKER

Status: Beaten

Rating: 4/10

Review: Not my favorite. It’s a slightly harder version of dehydrated. The level is short and doesn’t really bring anything to the table, and the last click is…a little weird. I think this level needs a little work.


ZERO

Status: Beaten

Rating: 10/10

Review: 10/10. No explanation needed. This level is just straight :fire:.


VIRUS

Status: Beaten

Rating: 9/10

Review: I play this level if I ever want to warm up. It’s SUCH a good level and the music is a certified Makecode BANGER. The only thing keeping it from a 10/10 is…the coin. It’s just…a bit too FREE It could benefit from a tighter shift. Other than that, top notch.


THUNDER

Status: Beaten

Rating: 2/10

Review: Probably my least favorite of the main levels. This level is…weird. Like 50% of it is completely auto making me question why it’s rated hard, and the even though the brightness trigger is just introduced, I feel like you didn’t do enough with it. This level could overall, need a redo.


PRISM PLASMA

Status: Beaten

Rating: 6/10

Review: This level is alright. The clicks are readable and basic so I think it would be better as a HARDER rated level, but that’s just my opinion. But, there is ONE buggy part. The last 2 bounce pads can kill you if you don’t time them perfectly. Fix that, and I might raise the rating by a point or 2.

(Also this level kinda reminds me of SPEED RACER in the real GD lol. I beat that level for fun sometimes)


BREEZE

Status: Beaten

Rating: 6/10

Review: It’s alright. The clicks are quite fair for a demon and I think you used the brightness trigger pretty well. But, The first bounce pad is VERY BUGGY though and sometimes, you can miss the 4x speed portal at the drop. Other than that, It I thinks fine.

Holy crap this game is amazing! I’m confused on why much of the levels have stopped playing their level music? Perhaps you should look into that, but other than that, I’m amazed by the visuals, the design, the music (which really impresses me!) I love this progress! Just don’t take 7 years to make another update :sweat_smile:

THUNDER V.2

Status: Beaten

Rating: 8/10

Review: Now THIS is how a Hard level should be. This remake is GREAT! The coin placement is great as well! But, one thing I’m wondering is, What happened to the brightness trigger? Wasn’t that what Thunder was built around in the first place? I think This level needs SOME use of it. Other than that. High Quality remake :+1:

The brightness trigger was introduced with Breeze, and Thunder came out with the fade to white transition, but it didn’t feel right to have that as a main level, so I removed it.
