After thinking about it for a few days, I decided to make a client for the original cybershift. One, I can make new mechanics + custom tiles without getting my levels removed. So far there is a planned 25 levels, however I only got 3 levels (an easy, hard and insane) done .
Taser, The level is at like 4x speed the entire level and then when itās NOT 4x speed, ITāS 5X. This level ALONE is harder than the FIRST 5 LEVELS in my original version. It may be easy to you, but think of the new players trying the game for the first time then BAM! they get hit with 4X TIMES SPEED.
Also, while Iām at it, The other levels you made are just downright unreadable. Listen, I know this is your version of the game and you can whatever you want with it, but thereās a reason I donāt use Blocks that arenāt supposed platforms as the path to go. Itās just Unreadable (Like the background tiles and arrows. Those were NEVER supposed to be walls.). That makes gameplay just straight up unfair and unsightreadable. Also, The amount of objects just randomly placed all over the place takes away your concentration.
Iām not trying to bring you down or anything but as creator of the original, Iād say you need to work on level making.
I have to say I always thought your levels arentā perfect per se, they could always use a little work to ease the difficulty here, maybe clean up some design and blind jumps there, but you got the core idea right, which is to start easy and gradually increase the difficulty.
@Taser, if you have troube getting ideas for good level design, both @PixelDoodle and @AbstractDesigner did it well in their games (CS and Roller)
