You can use the status-bar extension in the default extensions list! Also remember to use sprite kinds to handle lots of little guys without having to make variables for every one of them.

the sprite data extension would be better (i should make a tutorial for that )

Well they did ask for hunger bars, but i agree. That extension is a lifesaver.
