I own a MeowBit - a Makecode arcade hardware that allows you to import small or efficient games onto it to play, in the form of a small, hand-held, retro gaming device.
The problem is that it typically has random errors occurring all over the place while it works just fine on the computer, and any games that include a large amount of content take up too much storage.
So, I made this game. I have tried to make it as efficient on storage as possible, and programmed it to the utmost I could to stop any random errors that would normally be âoverlookedâ by a computer.
Its two player btw
The only controls - left arrow for player one, and âA Buttonâ for player two
Also if you donât want to grind wins to unlock all the guns and attachments, just press enter/B Button like 20 times before you press âa to playâ, and you unlock them all.
ALSO, one thing I would like to mention - If you are planning on putting a game into the Meowbit, one thing I have noticed is that by using the âsettings-extensionâ or any version of that will cause many, many, random errors to the Meowbit. (idk why)
SO donât use it - Instead use a highscore decode/encode system to get all your data - for example, you could use the numbers â999â to recognize a âsplitâ in the highscore system to decode another data point, as long as you never use 999 in your game.
My brother drew the ships btw and inspired the idea for this game!
If you like this, I would love if you left a comment, hearted this project, or gave feedback. Thank you!
