The micro:bit editor's image refresh rate... đź’€

The micro:bit editor (and software exported, not the hardware) image refresh rate is crap. It’s way too slow and I fail to make smooth pocket animations due to this. Explain why this is, and please fix it, as if you don’t, I’ll be using the microblocks editor due to it being completely frame-based. This detail about MakeCode Micro:bit is one of the worst in my opinion.

Do you mean like playing two consecutive showLeds? There’s a second parameter to control how long it pauses after playing in js/python, default is 400ms so that simple tutorials / users first project can just be two of them in a forever loop and still have fun, but you can cut that down to 0 if you really want to control it (I put 30 here just so it’s 33ish fps but you get the point):
