I’m making a game in GameMaker, and I will be making a port to Makecode Arcade. I’m gonna keep a log about the progress of both here.

Well, It’s like Sonic 1 for the Master System. It’ll be a different game, but the spritework will remain the same. I’m just making an adapted version for Makecode Arcade.

I’ve made a working test, and I’ll use this engine for now.

Some extensions I would suggest using for this:

  • Arcade Story Extension (For cutscenes)
  • Arcade Mini-Menu Extension (For menus)

I am already using the Mini-Menu Extension. I will get the story extension though!
