Hello everyone! This week holds the first days of October and we’ve now been in autumn for a whole week which means pumpkin spice season is in full swing.

People have some pretty strong opinions on pumpkin spice. Some wait all year for the pumpkin stuff to come back in season. Others find the fad overhyped and annoying. Perhaps it’s just something that happens that isn’t a big deal. What do you think about pumpkin spice? Is there a different fall flavor that you think should get more of the limelight? Let’s talk about it!

It’s alright, I guess. I definitely think it’s not worth THAT much hype, but it’s pretty good!

I’m not someone who sits on pins and needles waiting for pumpkin spice season, but I am a lover of the flavor profile.

Pumpkin pie is my favorite kind of pie. If there’s any sort of pumpkin spice pastry available in a cafe, I’ll be getting it. My all time favorite smoothie from Jamba Juice is the pumpkin smash. I don’t like coffee, though, so I’m not a consumer of the infamous PSL, but if I can get that pumpkin spice in a chai, I’ll take it! Not sure why I like it so much, but it’s a top for me.

I used to enjoy pumpkin spice lattes a lot; it’s lost its luster for me, though. Instead, each year at around this time, I look forward to Starbuck’s chestnut praline latte. Delightful!

Never had it. Not even once, but I heard it’s good. HOWEVER…I have had pumpkin pie. And THAT? Mm-Mm-MM! That is a 100% delicacy. Maybe pumpkin spice is good?
