POCKET KNIGHT - DEMO!

Because it’s a demo all you can do is make it to the ledge at the end of the level (hint hint).

Press A to fire a magic fire spell that doesn’t hurt. More like a tickle really.

OKAY. I can’t figure this out. It stumped me for at least 45 minutes. Please… someone help me fix this. Now that it’s in my head I don’t want to just leave it out!

So, what I’m trying to do is make him wall climb. For example, he sticks his sword into the rock, and he sticks there until he wants to launch himself up. But I CAN’T. FIGURE. IT. OUT! >_<

I appreciate you trying out here, but at the moment all I do is bounce around when I touch a wall. While I can fix that, I want it the player to stab a sword in the wall, STAY THERE, and then when up is pressed again he can get launched up and repeat. Can you help with that?

NEW GAME ALERT!

(Because I got bored)

I present:

This is a game that I’ve decided to make and put pocket knight on hold because… who doesn’t have 10 projects at once? Anyway, this is purely a demo, to see how it looks, feels, the mechanics and all the other stuff. I want feedback on everything! (You are an egg because I didn’t have a good sprite for a placeholder)

How to play

W - UP

ASD - For movement

A - to interact with signs, and anything else you might come across.

  1. There are little red ledges that you can hop onto! You have to get below them for it to work.
  2. You can push little boxes onto buttons! All you gotta do is ram yourself into it.
  3. Gems you can collect that do… NOTHING :smiley: ! (at least not yet)

Of course this is a demo for the 5 millionth time, so that’s all there is! Please enjoy :grin:

Well everyone, It seems Makecode has erased all of my work for Digital. there is no longer any code in my code history, reloading did nothing, and I have no more code at all for digital besides some barebones code that does nothing now. I’m pretty disappointed because I had big plans for this game and it was easily my best game I’ve ever made. (I had levels and a bunch of other stuff not in the demo already added in the new update I was planning on adding.) :disappointed_face: :sob:

Aaawww! Dang! Hope some way you can get your code back!

Press settings in the top right and click on project history, there you can get older versions of code!

That’s what I meant by code history. It’s all gone. I’m planning on moving on. My tiles were still there, which makes this weird. but I’m not complaining I have SOME left. Time to start from scratch and make it better than ever!

Digital is coming back! (yay)
And I need a quick poll to decide some things. Do I need any of these things in my game?

What Ideas should go in the game?
  • Enemies
  • Traps
  • Some curious looking npcs that talk
  • Just some animals that wander around/other things
  • Boss fights
  • Nothing my game is the pinnacle of life itself.

Since no one really responded in the poll. I’ll just do them all! First off, bosses are in the works. Im thinking every 5 levels maybe? Regardless of what I do, I hope you guys can be excited for a game you don’t really even know! :laughing:
