I outlined the edges so you can understand better:
It is like cube shaped.
How did you make it?
We discuss!
I render everything to the background image. I had to think of an equation to project xyz to xy. I used scene.backgroundImage().drawTransparentImage() with the cube images.
I left my tab open and I put my computer in sleep mode. I came back and all my asset images and tiles have been erased. If I didn’t have a backup on my Meowbit I would’ve been cooked.
Also, for your project, check out the AqeeAqee/Isometric-Sideview extension. I made this mod of my 2d Minecraft project once:
Sorry everyone. My internet was bad when I moved to another room. I’m still in that room. Sorry! But nice rendering, @TheEarth!
You should add more! I was planning the MakeLand builder to be like this. Can you help with the rendering? I’ll make art. Everyone, members, ASSIGN A ROLE!
Renderer
Artist
Musician
Idea People (Up to 20 people (Or everyone))
Coder
Renderer: Renders the game and all to look like it is Minecraft-ish.
Artist (Doesn’t have to be me): Makes all of the art.
Musician: Makes all of the music in the game.
Idea People (Up to 20): Brings up ideas and discuss with polls. The final result comes up if most people vote for it.
Coder (Up to 3): Structures the code by working together (if 2 or 3, working together would be the right solution) and checking for bugs.
Oh right! The bugger checks! Who is the bugger?
Bugger
Has a different role
Oh! And renderer! Can you render like this?
Mask maybe
Guys! I found this good topic for the renderer (@TheEarth) :
Kk. I got ya.
is this a drawing or code? I have a function but it needs some modifications.
maybe I’ll call that the window block, or idk something.
@IAmMyGuy21th , how do you switch blocks and move up and down? When I try to press menu at the same time as left/right or up/down, it just opens the built in pause menu or does nothing!
try holding down menu, then press the buttons? it works for me. also I added saving and loading and also rotating, so you can see the back sides.
I made your game 3d using the AqeeAqee/pxt-isometric-sideview extension. to import, just paste that into search bar.
how did you make an isometric game? do you just fake it with tilemap / sprites and use janky tilemap hitboxes?
OK! I can’t have everyone be the bugger! So I will pick names from sticks!
