Apparently, hoplings is becoming a part of this big platformer war on the forums. Why? Couldn’t tell ya. I’m just as confused as last time my game was a part of something bigger. Should I just roll with it and get my game out there before they do, or should I try and get myself out of this thing so I can work on my project on my own time?
I know what you’re talking about, and surprisingly… I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT. I usually love competition in all forms, but this time seems a bit different, a bit… excessive. I’ve never gone against the idea of competition until now. And… I don’t think that’s a good thing either. Competition drives me INSANE. Like, I literally go nuts. If you saw me now, and then saw me during a competition (no matter how small it was), you wouldn’t believe I’m the same person. But… for some reason I still like it… but why…

What on Earth did I just say? Competition is THE BEST!
im so confused ;-;
competition drives people to do better than the other when making video games ending up making your game a more successful venture in the long run. simply trying to 1up somebody on making your game more fun than the other makes it so the players get a better experience playing your game.
If you feel it’s best, try and get yourself out of there! The forums are understanding and will definitely let you go.
huh big platformer war???
Don’t blame you.
@TheConeGuy @goldtopaz @Brainstorm_Studios And me @TheGreenArtist are making our platformer games and we are trying to see who can make the best platformer. (At Least @goldtopaz is… and me.)
