I’ve FINALLY finished my entry: Over-Site! It’s a Tetris-platformer hybrid where you’re trying not to get crushed while playing Tetris. You also have to collect tools in time, each of which has a unique effect on the board.
If I get enough likes, I’ll continue working and updating this game! I’ll improve its art to match the quality of my other games, as well as adding more content, such as a main menu, opening cutscene, and more! I’ll also add music and sound effects. Hope you enjoy.
Here’s my attempt at making a rage bate game for you, richard:
The level select menu is really glitchy and “flips level playability” every other reset. You’ll get what I mean. I’m on vacation and couldn’t fix it in time so I’ll just say the broken menu adds to the cursedness of it.
Here’s another project I was working on a very long time ago that I thought fit. Not completed, just an idea:
Probably an issue with your save system, but I didn’t look into it too deeply. You should always test your project by running that delete all settings block at least once at the very top of the project to make sure that you don’t have any bugs!
JUMPY PLATFORMER BUT YOU HAVE A SWORD
Quite possibly the jumpy platformer mod of all time!
DISCLAIMER: If you are richard don’t play this before the livestream. If you are not richard also don’t reply about The Thing before the livestream. This game kinda relies on a bit of a twist.
On a totally unrelated note, DELTARUNE TOMORROW!!!
Thanks WoofWoof!
I’m using the settings extension so you can save the levels you’ve completed, that way it doesn’t reset to level 1! But that obviously doesn’t work, and you are kind of the makecode scientist, so I’ll make sure to fix it. Like I said, I won’t be able to fix until next month because I’m on vacation.
After deleting the code that gives an error, the game is quite charming. I like the simplistic art. Typically in a rage game you would prefer more systematic movement though. Random chance is frustrating, sure, but failing without any randomness is the thing that can drive your players mad.
About the noisy game, I think I’ve seen some thing on YouTube like that. quite cool.
SHOOT I NEED TO FINISH MY STUPID GAME I’M SUCH A PROCASTINATOR. Anyways, if you are reading this, please don’t ever decide to join a jam on the last 3 days.
1:00 PM pacific! we’ve got a lot of submissions this time around, so i expect we’ll be going for a while (planning two hours). if anyone wants to make sure their game is in the second half of stream because they can’t make the first or vice versa, let me know and i’ll try to accomodate.
This is my submission. It may not seem hard at first glance but it does hide a few things. I honestly think i spent too much time working on the art than the levels. A few notes, in the beginning cutscene there is a “skip cutscene” button in the menu, that will skip the cutscene. There is also a “resest” button which resets your progress.
