reminds me of those kinds of games where you switch gravity and stuff. This game actually looks like a fun multiplayer game tho.

Games looking better than they actually are is one of my main tricks in making good games. I could write a whole essay on this, but “fake it till you make” it is one of the best things to keep in mind while making games. It’s not just having the art make it look better, but coding around the limitations. Your inventory system can only hold 36 items and dropping isn’t an option? Just only code 36 items. There’s a game-breaking bug that only happens sometimes? Leave it in. Especially in a jam, where you don’t have time to change your whole collision system or such.
Also, pixel smash’s gameplay is kinda buns.
