This one isn’t a mini jam — this is a full game jam, which run for about two months (six weeks to develop and two weeks to judge). The dev team runs them a few times a year.
Mini game jams run for one month and typically happen each month a full game jam isn’t running.

Hey what are the rules around using ai to make games for game jams ik I’ve seen a flew games use ai art and I feel like it’s a bit unfair to those who are putting in the work to make real art for their games

imo ai sucks at low res pixel art and most games need that I remember I (tried to see if ai could make 20x30 deck of cards and it failed miserably I don’t think its going to be a problem

i have a feeling you are talking about mine? the problem today is that if anybody actually has any talent for anything anymore, nobody believes it is real. my splash characters took almost three hours to draw. i havent used any extensions other than timer. every single thing was drawn and made inside makecode editor

yeah i belive you, and i agree its very frastating that good art can be confused with ai art and on frist glace it can come off that way. form looking at your othe projects your art looks very real i am sorry if i called out a real artist for being a ai one
with my post above it was less abt calling you out and more abt seeing if the mods had any rules around using ai for coding and art in game jams
