Conway was an interesting person, even by mathematician standards. Such a genius and I was sad to hear of his passing from Covid-19 earlier this year. He mathematics though seemingly fun often had deep results. Perhaps my favorite sequence in the OEIS is his look-and-say sequence (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Look-and-say_sequence).
