Your game has potential!
I know it’s not what you asked for but I advise you to polish / optimize what code you have right now before moving onto the enemies. Also it would be nice if you described what type of game you’re aiming to do etc.

short platformer game with bosses
I see. Well I’ve tried playing it and once the first level loads I seem to be stuck in the air and I can’t see myself either 
never happened w me. try moving on the cutscene
I tested it again and I got why it happened! If I jump before the level loads, the character goes off screen and never comes back!
