Boss attack types?

Can I use MathF.sin() or Smith similar to create a particle attack that waves up and down? Any help is appreciated.

Nevermind, I figured this one out, but I do have another question: How can I make a particle swoop in a parabola shape? I’ve tried this code here:

But for some reason the sprite seems to glitch up and down like in the game here:
