Well… Hi. I just thought that I should make a devlog, just so I have somewhere to put sneak peaks of my games. To start off with, here is a screenshot showcasing some of the art in tiny dungeons.
Please let me know suggestions for my games. By the way, tiny dungeons is going to be a celeste themed game, meant to be quite hard and fast platforming. I have Coyote time, dashing, double jumping, and LORE. Let me know what you think.
Nope! Coyote time allows you to jump for a few milliseconds after you run off a platform, you don’t often realise it. The game just feels much smoother with it.
It all looks awesome, the color palette is super duper cool, but…
The player character feels… Out of place. Like he doesn’t belong in this game. He loos so basic compared to the rest of the art…
I have a suggestion… Having played it… (That’s right) I think it could be improved the detail, for instance right now you are focusing on the gameplay… But instead maybe you should focus on… MINI SPOILER ALERT!!!

牆上有一些寶石還是什麼東西?
Thanks! I made it myself to have lots of shades of red, two shades of vibrant blue, and some of grey.
Also about this, it is really hard to make a 9 by 5 character look good. I can’t make it any bigger, because the screen size is 80 by 60, and it needs to fit through this sort of thing while platforming.
I forgot I had a devlog… So here is a progress report on star blast.
I have enemy behaviour, (sort of) energy, shield, and mineral bars, collectible and throwable minerals, a minimap that I built using graphics and math, just like the status bars.
