Can you put Arcade Makecode games on Switch?

There was a post talking about putting makecode games on xbox… what about switch?

I love the idea!

Microsoft doesn’t own Switch!

I don’t think the Switch has a web browser, so there wouldn’t be any way to get a game on it, unless it was an actual downloadable Nintendo game, which I think is impossible.

Maybe if you mod it. What about the GBA @MakeCode do you think you can mod a GBA to play makecode games?

Joke’s on you, the Switch does have one! Nintendo removed all the functions to stop the DNSBrew trick.

oh yea

Microsoft isn’t really allowed to make games and such for Nintendo products without permission, and even if they did get permission from Nintendo, why would they do it? Nintendo is one of Microsoft’s rivals

It’s EZ, just fly to japan and ask Nintendo to add it :trophy:

I guess I need to find another way to put MBG on the switch

Plus:

The makecode game files are UF2 while the switch game files is NSP. You would need to find a way to convert the UF2 to a NSP file

Which i dont think is possible at the present time

That statement will be false once the Nintendo Focus (Nintendo Switch 2) releases. Nintendo recently stated that to create the Focus, they will be collaborating with XBOX, or in other words, Microsoft themselves.

Maybe we could make an emulator.

Impossible
Did you read my last post

interesting! of course there is still speculation if the nintendo focus is fake or not.

There are file converters all over the internet

Most of them are janky and don’t support UF2.
For example, if I want to convert a video to a .gif, it’s gonna be possible, but some stuff will have to be distorted.

Easier said than done…
