i can’t seen to get this code right. i tried doing when the sprite overlaps something. it changes into that thing but instead it only changes into it for only a sec. is there anyway i can fix this? can you give me a code to help? thanks.

Thanks! I think the issue is the animations. If you add a “stop all animations” block in your overlap event it should fix it:
