Although it is correct that MakeCode JS is still orders of magnitude slower than “regular” JS, you can still adjust your coding style and structure your program in a way to minimize the impact of expensive things such as function calls, property lookups, etc. My devlog post on C3D shows performance numbers and links to the repo, so you can check out the code. One day I plan on writing up a post on sim perf as well.
