Hi! Sooo I was thinking of something! An extension to use a meowbit/microbit as a streamdeck/keyboard! So for example to make up and down controll the volume! Would such an extension be possible? Maybe @eanders @kwx @UnsignedArduino could help!? Maybe make Blocks like
Press Key (key)
Press Keys (key)+(key)
Increase volume by (num)
Decrease volume by (num)
Press (LMB/RMB)

I’m pretty sure that the keyboard extension can do “regular” keys like “a” and “b” and the regular modifier keys like ctrl and shift, but idk about media keys. (like the volume up and down) but for a stream deck you are mostly pressing key combinations anyway.

Ok well I have the keys but the PC does not get the signals over usb by it… So someone would have to make a script that senses those things…

If you want to make a working way to increase or decrease the volume just declare a variable at the start called “volume”. Then set the volume to something like 50 (or whatever you want) and do the same for the variable you made. When you press up make it do “change variable “volume” by 1”, and then do set volume to “volume”. Do the opposite for the decreasing. And there you have it. Also do something like if “volume” is > 0: decrease, and if “volume” is < 255 increase to make sure the volume doesnt overflow over 255 or underflow under 0. Hope this helps.

Your meowbit/pygamer, etc. has native USB, which means it can pretend to be a keyboard, mouse, even usb drives.

Basically you put on a costume on October 31 and walk around at night with friends! You knock on doors and when they open you say: Trick or treat and (mostly) you get candy in your bag
