Alright, since tomorrow I have prom at my High School, I probably won’t have time to type this post out on Friday 06/05/2026, so today will have to do, I suppose (it is currently Thursday 06/04/2026 in the EST timezone as I am typing out this post)
Anyways, as you can see below, I have created a bundle of 3 brand new riddles, with them being ranked from easiest to hardest like it always has been (I attached 5-point ratings of their difficulty for each of the 3 brainteasers). I also added some hints to give some struggling MakeCoders further assistance in any of the riddles.
Let’s see how it goes this time, shall we?

Riddle #1: The Man In The Grass
Difficulty: EASY (1/5)
The Riddle Itself
You take your daily afternoon stroll at the local park in late October; it is quite peaceful. All until you come across the body of a seemingly unconscious, fully clothed (adult) man lying face flat on the grass, with there being a dark puddle of what looks like blood; and it appears that there is a knife stuck in his back. You immediately pull out your iPhone to call for emergency services over such a situation, as most civilised people would do.
Suddenly, before you could fully finish dialling 911, to your surprise, the man quickly gets up (without saying a single word) from the ground. And then, he just calmly and gracefully walks away from the scene, with the knife still stuck in his back. In the background, you can hear the faint sound of a bunch of teenagers laughing.
How did the man manage to survive and walk away like it’s nothing?
BIG HINT #1
What’s a famous holiday (with its associated traditions) celebrated in late October that often results in lots of playfulness and laughter?
Answer To Riddle #1
A: This stroll happened during Halloween (key term here is “late October”). The man was on the ground, pretending to be out cold; the blood and knife were all fake and for props. You just thought it was all real. This entire act is one of the many practical scares/shocks/pranks/tricks people play on others during Halloween, only further corroborated by the fact that there was laughter from teenagers after the man had left the scene.

Riddle #2: The Leaky Shield
Difficulty: MEDIUM (2.5/5)
The Riddle Itself
What is a shield against a star, but a leaky one as well?
When things get loud, it all goes dark.
When one jogs through, they can’t see far.
BIG HINT #2
The answer lies in our atmosphere, that’s all I can see abt this one.
Answer To Riddle #2
A: The answer is a Cloud. Clouds have this characteristic in which they block visible light coming from the Sun (which is considered a star). When there is lots of rainfall and a loud thunderstorm (loud), a cloud does turn from white to dark grey in colour. The rain droplets, very often associated with a thunderstorm, reference the “leaky” part of the shield. Also, in some cases, a cloud can exist on the low-level ground, otherwise known as fog, with it being hard to see through and impacting humans’ FOV (Field-Of-View).

Riddle #3: An Evolving Network
Difficulty: HARD (4/5)
The Riddle Itself
At the beginning of a long journey, we all congregate together and focus; connections are made.
Years pass by; we drift apart a bit, a feud or death happening, new considerations formed.
At the end of the long journey, when the final bell in the system rings, we all dip and scatter.
Who’s We?
BIG HINT #3
The biggest keywords are “bell in the system.” In what real-life worldwide “system” might a bell be associated with as an iconic item?
Answer To Riddle #3
A: The Answer is students/classmates. At the start of the education system (the “long journey” in question), you and your classmates will closely gather (congregate) together, with you all focusing on making friends or studying.
As you go further down the road and as time passes by, the connections between fellow (human, not machines) students can get a bit strained, new separate friend groups are made, you are split between different classrooms, perhaps you’ll lose friends due to as well (perhaps from a feud or death), it is also here that people begin to consider new distinct paths in life, so there is some drifting apart in goals here.
Eventually, after a long time, graduation day will come (perhaps with a final bell ring with students having been accustomed to the sound for years), and everyone will go on their different paths in life.
