CIRCLE BATTLE SIMULATOR UPDATE 1

It is now convenient I guess


CHANGES

  • Budget that currently has no purpose: Both Melee and Ranged cost $100
  • Battle refuses to start if you don’t have at least 1 troop of both sides
  • Battle now ends automatically once 1 side runs out of troops
  • I think I fixed a bug where a troop stays in its hurt state
  • Added 1 sound effect that’s it
  • I probably forgot something

That’s it, play around with the game now more convenient.
I’m still hungry for feedback however.

The troops sometimes stick together into a ball.

Oh right, I DID forget something
Ranged now has a range of 100 pixels (is that the measurement!?) and moves toward it’s target if it’s not in the range of Ranged.
BUT it now attacks faster! Yay…

I’m loving this so far! However, i’d recommend making the map larger and allow scrolling for the player to place down troops (Like a certain game I happen to know) However, the game oozes potential and pure awesomeness! Keep up the amazing work!

add a slow bulky unit a fast weak unit status effects like poison fire ice etc

Wow very cool!!! Did you base this off TABS? Also, would it be possible to maybe change the controls up? You could use a button mapping extension to put player 2 A and B buttons as something close so the player could reach them, and have them cycle left or right through the troop options. This means b could be used to delete characters. Very good game otherwise :slight_smile:

PART 1

I decided to make this as a little filler as I work on this prototype and it goes into the Beta[?] stage.

CHANGES

  • Title screen so you can watch those idiots fight to the [beeeeep]
  • The barriers that mark which side determines the team of the troop now disappear when in Battle Simulation

NOTE

This is part 1 of the update, she hasn’t been added yet
(I swear I will give em to ya in part 2)

My feedback to you is make sure that you add a new enemy one that comes slowly towards you but has a lot of health so that it is a damage blocker also another thing… make it so that you have a certain amount of points to spend. I.E I have 100 points and it costs 10 points to make an archer

Wow, I love the visuals! It’s a surprisingly accurate simulator! I suggest a button to add random troops and bet whether one side will win or not!

You could add a unit that charges toward the other team with while being able to do tons of damage at the cost of terrible health.
