Code deleted

I closed the project(not the tab) and reopened it because the project wasn’t autosaving like usual. When I reopened the project, almost half of the code was deleted. What do I do?

The autosave does not work sometimes, so your code got deleted. As for getting it back you could look for copies but usually when this happens it is impossible to reverse. In the future my suggestion is to every time you are done with a great portion of code press the share button. This should give you a link that you can send to yourself. That way if your code is ever deleted you can click on the link click “Edit code” and a new project will be created containing all the code that you created before sharing. You can update the link by re-sharing.

Unless you’ve saved the project through means of downloading, sharing the link, or a GitHub repo, it is not possible to recover a project that has been deleted or bugged out in this case.

About that…
I did save the project when it stopped autosaving, but I did it via the share button without thinking about copying the link. Could I possibly recover that?

I don’t think that’s possible, sorry.
