Here it is! The first of my BRR games. (Its an acronym, if you lore seekers can find it out!)
You play as a hungry seagull who has to travel to 3 coastal locations to steal food from humans. Start by snatching some berries from a farmers market, then swoop some fish from the docks, and finally steal the meat from a beachside barbeque!
Controls
Press LEFT and RIGHT to move.
Press UP to jump while you are at the rock.
Press DOWN to swoop when you are away from home.
Press A to travel to food-filled locations.
WARNING!! Pressing ‘MENU’ clears your progress. Don’t worry, RESET does not clear your progress, just restarts the level.
Art
I love the art in this game! It has an adorable color scheme and a focus on low-pixel sprites that are scaled up. The lineless style is cute and relaxed! I decided to leave out music, as this game is intended to be a quick 3-level puzzle game, and I felt like including music or sound wouldn’t be needed for its target audience. (That being people quickly playing it who may not bother to wear headphones or use volume)
Lore
Of COURSE it has lore! This game is NOT connected to any of my other games, but in its own universe. Any games part of the ‘BRR’ series are connected. You may not get too much lore out of this first game, but you might notice some bits in character dialogue and in the tile maps.
