I don’t know why I have to keep telling you this, but please refer to the code of conduct.

“* One post per project – In general, it’s good practice to keep all project updates in a single topic post. This means that if you have new versions or updates to your project or game, simply reply to the existing post, instead of creating a new topic each time. This helps keep the Forum tidy.”

Creating a topic for minor updates just make the forums more messy. Like the quote says, replying to the existing topic keeps the forum tidy.

@personalnote, this topic was posted a while before you told me to confine my games to a single topic.

I see. Sorry bout that

Here is my next update for Desert Survival!

It features:

  • Bug Fixes
  • Polishings
  • The Option to Collect, Cook, and Eat Cactus Leaves

Enjoy!

And as for a tutorial, I realize that the game doesn’t really give one, and there isn’t one in the post. So, here it is.

The goal of the game is to survive for as long as possible!

You can do this by catching birds (by pressing ‘A’ when you overlap them) and harvesting cactus leaves (pressing ‘A’ while overlapping a cactus, which can only be done twice per day.) and then cooking them over a fire!

You can create fires by going to a bush and spamming ‘A’ until you get 5 sticks, and then going wherever you want the fire to be and then pressing ‘B’ to place it. (You can’t place a fire on saturated soil where water can appear.)

Then you press the ‘down’ button to choose what you want to cook.

When you’ve chosen what food to cook (assuming that you have some of what you decided to cook), the food will appear, and will follow you around until you eat it, which can be done by pressing ‘B’.

Every 2 minutes, the time-of-day changes (either from night to day, or from day to night) and your score will change by 1. Once you’ve survived 1 day and 1 night, the game will splash “Yay! you’ve survived one day!”

Water will appear at random intervals, and you can press ‘A’ to drink it.

The game will end when either your hydration or hunger bar becomes fully depleted.

Good luck!
