At high speeds two distinct colors blend to one when rapidly swapped. I’ve made a new kind of tile to support these flickering colors.
The whole project has taken shape but now i have to worry about there being too many pixels on screen. around over 500 pixels processed the program starts to slow down due to the amount of tasks becoming too high. Is there any way I can optimize the process?

I think the short answer is: No. Hardware Limitations.
But I’ve made a tool with Ostromoukhov dithering that works well for the illusion of more colours than the limited 16. As long as you’re prepared for 15,000 lined of Javascript in your project for 12 seconds of video.

Thank you. Beyond the the high pitch beeps It’s amazing how clear MIDIs sound in that video’s audio compared to the first ones I’ve heard in these forums. Maybe I’ll use that in my project at some point.
Thanks for the help, but I plan on continuing to see if there’s a way to solve making this illusion work.
