Hey, guys! News is about to heat up once more with new updates and finally a release date! But first i have some news of awesome things I added. Yes, these have already been added so don’t worry about me elongating the games development any farther

1. There’s a new Level ranking system that will rank your overall performance
2. There’s a 3 slot save system that can used
3. There will be 5 New playstyles
4. There’s a time attack mode were you can race for faster times as well as veiw previous times
5. There’ll be a final boss with multiple phases.
6. Finally, the cutscenes have been updated to improve story cohesion, dialog boxes, performance, and music.

And There’s still so much more to see and reveal! So join me for the final count down. The next news update is coming soon and it’ll be BIG!

Welcome to Diego Illusions! A new game coming to MakeCode Arcade this year just in time for the holiday season. Find out more info and reveals in todays featured presentation of Diego Illusions!

Reach new speeds!

Diego The Spheroid is a speed-based platformer using the Velocity-S framework and the MakeCode Arcade game engine. Traverse unfamiliar yet enticing zones in order to stop the malevolent Empress Sarah’s latest scheme to rule all of planet pixel, a world as advanced as ours. Use momentum and raw power to climb walls and defeat increasingly difficult enemies. It’s not hard to see that Diego and the rest have a handful on their floating hands.

Explore new lands!

Welcome to the Spheroidian Outlands, there isn’t much out here as far as civilization goes but Sarah’s tech and influence is all over! Travel to a snowy wonderland or a moon sized star-base. Each Zone holds a new challenge with 4 sectors to pass, each with 3 DRG Spheres to collect. DRG Spheres are less powerful versions of the highly sought after NRG Spheres, you’re collecting them for ben to use, they’re pretty handy from time to time.

5 playstyles!

Play as Diego, Ben, Ray, Wendy, and Razor throughout these massive zones! Each character even has their own special abilities to try out! Pick your favorite and roll with it or try a bit of everything!

Boost at mach 10 and higher with Diego

Glide to your hearts content with Ben

Take DOWN the new Spherdroids!

Sarah’s newly revealed Spherdroids are out to stop the Spheroids (Diego, Ben, Ray, Wendy, And Razor) from collecting the NRG Spheres and taking Sarah’s plan back down to earth. Through the mystical power of an NRG Sphere, Diego is thrust into an alternate reality where he must escape before his time runs down to win the power to wield that NRG Sphere. Even though the Spherdroids seem to hate each other Diego still hopes they’ll come together and help stop Sarah’s empire.

I’d like to issue an apology for the lack of updates on this game not only recently but throughout this year. At this point this game has been in development for over a year and it’s been the biggest I’ve ever done. I did alot of stuff that I’ve never done before. I’ve seen and heard so much support and encouragement from you all and it’s really kept me going throughout this development. You’ve probably realized at this point that I planned on releasing the game before now and that’s indeed true. I thought that stuff had to be changed and updated just because I found better ways to do it. I’ve optimized code even more and added so many things that will make the overall experience better. So stay ready because when that release date comes, this’ll be an experience to remember, I promise.

So… yeah. If you didn’t realize Diego Illusions was supposed to release this- well, last winter now techinically. But I rushed myself when I knew that there was no way I’d be able to finish it in time. That’s my fault, but it’s not the biggest deal ever or anything. Anyways, as always, I’m definitely not canceling the game nor has development stopped it’s just taking awhile because it’s a big game. Anyways other than that no updates at this time other than the fact that this game has been in development since October 2023💀. Kinda crazy but as I said this game is much bigger than i could’ve thought. Anyways, see yall later.

Don’t worry, we all believe in you! Hebes itself dealt with this, and because I never realized it, I suffered and so did Hebes, so be sure to take your time! Remember; the first 80% of your game takes 20% of your time, while that last 20% of the game takes 80% of your time.

To give you guys something interesting while I finish DTSI i got this never seen before canceled level. It would’ve been a Swamp level but it never got a name end was removed from the game pretty early on. Let me know if yall wanna see more unused assets and stuff.
